This program is only available online as a degree completion program for students with an Associate in Applied Science (AAS) degree. Students will be prepared to enter the workforce with greater awareness of and ability to implement critical professional skills and also be competitive for advancement within their profession and organizations with which they are affiliated.

Rowan University requires the completion of 120 semester hours (30 S.H. must be at Rowan University) of approved general education and major coursework in order to graduate with a bachelor's degree. The B.A. in Health Studies: School of Health Professions degree completion program is a part-time program (with possible full-time enrollment) that provides students with 33 of the required semester hours.

The following is a list of items required to begin the application process for the program. There may be additional actions or materials required for admission to the program. Upon receipt of the materials below, a representative from the Rowan Global Admissions Processing Office will contact you with confirmation or will indicate any missing items.

  • $65 (U.S.) non-refundable application fee
  • Associate's Degree or an equivalent number of transferable college credits
  • Official transcripts from all colleges attended (regardless of number of credits earned)
  • Current professional resume
  • Minimum undergraduate cumulative GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale)
  • Copy of certification
    • Medical Technology or Clinical Medical Assistant Certification
