The Certificate of Graduate Study in Integrated Marketing Communication and New Media is intended for current or future professionals (in any field) who strive to gain a deeper understating of social media and integrated communication and how they impact the workplace. Students who complete the program will learn:
How the demand for greater accountability from marketing efforts has intensified and how new media has proliferated;
About the concept of integrated marketing communication and how it allows for companies to streamline and make more consistent their public message.
This program also provides those who are already working in the industry with up-to-the-minute professional development strategies and skills in the areas of new media.
The IMC & New Media COGS is a part-time program offered in an accelerated online format. It requires the completion of 9 graduate semester hours (3 courses) which are possible to complete in only 2 to 3 consecutive semesters. The courses that make up the IMC & New Media COGS may also be applied towards Rowan University’s M.A. in Public Relations program or the School Public Relations Certificate program.
The following courses make up the IMC & New Media Certificate of Graduate Study program. Each course is scheduled in 8 week modules with each week of work starting every Tuesday at 8:00 a.m. and ending every Monday at midnight (Eastern Standard Time).

The following is a list of items required to begin the application process for the program. There may be additional action or materials required for admission to the program. Upon receipt of the materials below a representative from the Rowan Global Admissions Processing Office will contact you with confirmation or indicating any missing items.
Bachelor's degree (or its equivalent) from an accredited institution of higher learning
Official transcripts from all colleges attended (regardless of number of credits earned)
Current professional resume
Brochures, flyers, professional statements, and other written and printed works are encouraged; as well as any other materials that have been professionally published.
Two letters of recommendation
Letters of recommendation should be from professional administrators and include information, which attests to applicant's ability to pursue a graduate degree
Start Dates & Application Deadlines
The chart below details available entry terms for the IMC and New Media Certificate of Graduate Study program as well as corresponding application deadlines. Submitting the Application Form is only the first step to beginning the admission process. All of the required materials listed above must be received on or before the application completion deadline for your desired entry term to be considered for admission to that term. We encourage you to complete the application form and begin submitting your materials at least one month before the deadline indicated.
