B.A. in Law and Justice Studies at Camden

This degree completion program is offered with classes taking place on the Rowan University Camden Campus. It is intended for those who have completed their Associate’s degree and wish to pursue the Bachelor of Arts in Law & Justice. The Rowan University Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Law & Justice (LAWJ) degree offers students solid academic preparation in criminal law and the criminal justice system with an interdisciplinary approach to coursework that enhances critical thinking, reasoning, writing, and logic skills. It prepares students for professional careers in four major areas: law enforcement and security services, court services, corrections, and human services. The program also offers students the rigorous preparation necessary to eventually pursue graduate studies and professional school programs.

Curriculum

Rowan University requires the completion of 120 semester hours (30 s.h. must be at Rowan University) of approved general education and major coursework in order to graduate with a bachelor’s degree. The B.A. in Law & Justice degree completion program is a full-time program offered on the Rowan University Camden Campus only, that provides students with 36 of the required semester hours in the major.

Admissions Requirements

The following is a list of items required to begin the application process for the program. There may be additional action or materials required for admission to the program. Upon receipt of the materials below a representative from the Rowan Global Admissions Processing Office will contact you with confirmation or indicating any missing items.

  • $65 (U.S.) non-refundable application fee

  • Official transcripts from all colleges attended (regardless of number of credits earned)

  • Associate’s Degree or 24 semester hours of transferable college credits

  • Minimum undergraduate cumulative GPA of 2.0 (on a 4.0 scale)
